Screed Works once again was chosen to work alongside R W Armstrong, who have extensive experience in the construction of bespoke new homes to an architect’s one-off design, this time on a 17th-century house refurbishment and Extension in West Byfleet, Surrey.
Built in 1686, Byfleet Manor has been a familiar backdrop to the Downton Abbey action for five years. Fans of the show will recognise it as Dower House, home to Lady Violet Crawley, the dowager played by Dame Maggie Smith.
From Isocrete K-Screed in the Basement to Instamac Ultracem Rapid Drying Screed over Kingspan K103 insulation in the Ballroom and remaining living spaces this multi phased high-end project was a privilege to be part of.
