    Screed Works specialise in installing rapid hardening floor screeds, in all areas, and very often in Bathrooms or Wetrooms, using the rapid-drying technology in cement such as Ardex A29, and Ardex A38. As well as Self Levelling Compounds like Ardtiex NA and Ardtiex CL.

    Most Bathroom or Wetroom areas require the install of fleece-backed uncoupling mats post screed. ARDEX AF 200 PLUS is used to fix the fleece-backed uncoupling matting to cement/sand screed subfloors prior to tiling, as well as timber and concrete, and suitable for use over normal underfloor heating systems.

    ARDEX AF 200 PLUS Uncoupling Matting Adhesive is a perfect material for tight schedules and rapid drying solutions. Its high grab formulation reduces curling of the mat for easy installation significantly reducing the time required to install the uncoupling mats, is ready to receive matting in as little as 5 minutes and the exceptionally long tack time allows fixing up to an hour after application with tiles fixed immediately.

    Tile Fixing?

    Floor tiles can be fixed with an ARDEX Cement-Based Tile Adhesive e.g. ARDEX MICROTEC X77 or ARDEX MICROTEC X78, and grouted with ARDEX-FLEX FL Flexible Tile Grout, or ARDEX EG8 PLUS Epoxide Tile Grout for areas where chemical resistance and hygienic joints are required. When fixing moisture sensitive natural stone, we recommend the use of ARDEX MICROTEC S27, ARDEX MICROTEC S28 or ARDEX MICROTEC X7001 Tile Adhesives and ARDEX MG Tile Grout.

    Storage and Shelf Life

    ARDEX AF 200 PLUS has a shelf life of not less than 12 months if stored in good conditions, between 5°C and 30°C and in original unopened containers.
