Where oil contamination is present, to prime and bond these screeds and other appropriate ARDEX cement-based products, Screed Works use ARDEX R 6 E Oil Tolerant Epoxy Primer, a two-component, solvent-free epoxy resin for use on oil-contaminated internal concrete slabs, prior to applying ARDEX Flooring Products such as Screeds, Levelling and Smoothing Compounds like Arditex NA and Arditex CL, Damp Proof Membranes, and Tile Adhesives.

To facilitate installation of resin screeds and toppings, R6E is paired with an ARDEX Fine Aggregate to create a sand blind, which gives a mechanical key. Also works as a primer prior to applying thick applications of the ARDEX SD-T B/ARDEX K 80 Industrial Floor System, or other appropriate ARDEX cement-based products.

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE

Store in dry conditions. ARDEX R6E Solvent Free Epoxy Primer has a storage life of not less than 12 months in the original unopened containers.

Use of the product after the end of the declared storage period may increase the risk of allergic reaction.
