As well as Commercial and Domestic rapid hardening floor screeds, Screed Works specialise in installing Industrial Floor Systems using a combination of Ardex K80 and Ardex SD-TB base mix or Ardex K80 over an Ardex Screed as a wearing Screed.
ARDEX K80 is a specially formulated cement-based compound for resurfacing and levelling existing concrete floors to give a hard, smooth, flat, wearing surface or as a base for suitable paint and resin coatings.
ARDEX SD-TB base mix is designed to pre-level concrete surfaces prior to applying ARDEX K80. When mixed with water, ARDEX K80 produces a fluid self-levelling mortar which can be applied by trowel or pump as a floor finish from 5mm-10mm. Where thick applications are required the cost effective ARDEX SD-TB base mix can be applied from l0mm-50mm to level the concrete base.
The ‘Rapidry Formula’ technology of the ARDEX SD-TB base mix means that within only hours of its application a minimum 5mm thickness of ARDEX K80 can be applied.

Use ARDEX DGR degreaser to remove polish, wax, grease, oil and similar contaminating substances prior to mechanical preparation.
Ardex R3E
Ardex R3E – Two Component Epoxy Resin Primer and Bonding Agent for use on sound concrete, cementitious surfaces, calcium sulphate based screeds and smoothing compounds. Also used to prepare for a mechanical kay or sand blinding.
STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
4.5 Litres. Store in a dry place out of direct sunlight. ARDEX DGR has a storage life of not less than 12 months in the original unopened containers.
