From Chancery House to Monument Street
Collins Construction are one of our longest-standing main contractors, and since 2022 we've worked on Chancery House, 21 Sackville Street, 63–66 and 4 Coleman Street, Ryder Court and 16–18 Monument Street. At Chancery House, between January 2022 and July 2023, the screeding came a package at a time: WCs, post rooms, shower bases, a lift base, a bike store ramp, a gym floor and self-levelling across the lower ground, much of it over live services. The boiler room had to act as a bund, so we designed falls to a single gully into the screed itself, and when a rainwater harvesting tank later moved into a room we'd already screeded flat, we came back and put falls into that too, working Saturdays inside the building's 9am–2pm noise window. At 21 Sackville Street in Mayfair the challenge was access, so we pumped Weberfloor 4310 self-levelling with a PFT G4 Smart pump and placed fast-drying screed with a diesel pump.
Being asked back is the measure
One good floor wins you a job. Sixteen instructions on the same building, and a run of buildings after it, is what tells you the contractor trusts you.
Next projects.
