Location: Based near Bracknell (with most work in the South-East of England, occasional nationwide travel required)

Starting Salary: £22,000 per annum with bonuses and working-away allowance

Job Description:

We are seeking a Labourer/Trainee Floor Screeder to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the construction industry. The successful candidate will assist with the preparation, installation, and finishing of screed floors and will be trained on various screeding methods, including traditional, fibre-reinforced, and rapid drying screeds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in all aspects of floor screeding, from floor preparation to final installation.

  • Work on various sites, including residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

  • Follow health and safety regulations and ensure site cleanliness.

  • Learn and operate equipment used in screeding, such as mixers, trowels, and levelling tools.

  • Work with experienced floor screeders to learn screeding techniques.

  • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.

  • Travel to different sites, primarily across the South-East of England, with occasional nationwide work and overnight stays.

  • Flexibility to work long hours when required.

Requirements:

  • Must have a full, clean UK driving licence.

  • Must own your own vehicle to travel to and from sites.

  • Located close to Bracknell or willing to relocate to the area.

  • Flexibility to travel across the UK and stay overnight in hotels as required.

  • Ideally possess a CSCS card. If not, we are willing to provide training to obtain it when the role commences.

  • A strong desire to learn and build a career in floor screeding.

  • Physically fit and able to handle heavy manual labour.

  • Experience in construction is a plus but not required as full training will be provided.

  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

  • Good attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
